Association

Creation

My EBP Village was created on 15 November 2020 with a range of short, medium and long-term objectives. The association secured “intérêt général” status in 2023, meaning that membership payments are tax-deductible for members with tax residency in France (the same may apply elsewhere).

My EBP Village will work along two lines, one conventional and the other innovative. The first will focus on consolidating and enriching the base formed by all current and future graduates. The second will be inclusive, targeting a new audience to whom we hope to instill the same spirit and values.

Our history

The EBP has been, and remains, the “School of Life” for all the students who have enrolled since 1987, and will continue to do so in the future. It has forged and developed their capacity for adaptation and flexibility, their taste for adventure, rigor, sensitivity, fantasy and living together.

From the “Because Europe is business” of the 20th century, we are building a new world that makes sense and defines a new way of thinking about living together.

With this in mind, “We mustn’t be afraid to dream”, so let’s dare to be different and daring, and let’s break down determinism.

Consolidating the “base” would mean responding to the needs that emerged from this survey, which can be summarized as follows:

  • We want to feel part of a community and strengthen our identity.
  • We no longer want to be disappointed.
  • We are “people”, not numbers.
  • No longer feel isolated at an event.
  • We want our actions to have meaning.
  • We want a place where we can share our experiences.
  • We’d like to offer our expertise to other members in a short circuit.

Once this “base” has been consolidated, he will then be able to :

  • Help the children of EBPians with their research.
  • Pass on his expertise to a curious and interested public.
  • Inculcate a spirit of open-mindedness by talking about their career paths.
  • Encourage young people to make the most of their lives.
  • Stimulate vocations in young people who are still searching.

Vision

Create an EBP community, open to all former students that would like to contribute to a more open, supportive and inclusive world.

My EBP Village aims to strengthen connections between EBP alumni and support students and recent graduates throughout their professional journey.

Alumni will support younger members, working side by side on ambitious projects.

This non-profit undertaking will operate across the 77 countries where our alumni and students are living, working and studying.

Values

Our shared values and common vision will help create synergy in our future actions.

  • Trust is the common thread of the community, fostering cooperation, mutual aid, and the
    building of strong relationships.
  • A supportive network of over 3300 graduates spanning 5 continents, promoting
    intergenerational support.
  • Professional mentoring at any stage of one’s career.
  • Sharing professional experiences within expertise circles.
  • The unique conviviality of the EBP community.
